How it works

1. You call or send a request

   Tell us your town and what's going on: you want guards, ice is building at the eaves, a gutter came loose, or meltwater is getting into the basement.

2. We connect you with one local company

   Your call or request goes to an independent gutter company that works in the Wausau area.

3. The company handles the job

   They contact you, look at the house, quote and do the work. Prices, warranties and terms are theirs.

What we are and aren't

Wausau Gutter Guards is a referral service, not a contractor. We don't send crews or employ installers, and we don't set prices. There's no charge to homeowners.

What to ask the installer

• If a permit is needed, do they hold a Wisconsin Dwelling Contractor credential?
• Will you get a written contract with the price, materials and start and finish dates, as ATCP 110 requires in many cases?
• Can they show proof of liability insurance?
• How will the guards and gutters handle snow load and ice?
• What are the product and labor warranties, in writing?
